The Working Man's 'Cross Wheel
New for 2011, the T24-CX is a light weight low-profile tubular rim for cyclocross and professional road racing. It began life as a special production wheel for Richard Sachs who asked for a wide section rim to maximize adhesion on wide-section cyclocross tires. Cole developed a 23mm wide rim with a shallow radius and center channel to optimize fit and adhesion on wide section tires. The shallow radius bed is designed to fit the shape of a big section tire. The center channel automatically centers the tire on the rim (the seam of the tire fits into it). And the greater surface area of a wider rim means there’s more glue-tire contact. The result is a rock-solid platform for big section tires.

Description:
The T24 features a DSA hub and low-profile, tubular aluminum rim. The high-tension DSA spoke lacing gives this wheel the performance characteristics of a pro racing wheel, perfectly at home in the mud or on the road. A lightweight hub keeps the weight to a competitive 1540 grams.
Options:
- The wheels come stock with a Shimano/Sram compatible free hub.
- We offer a Campagnolo compatible freehub instead of the Shimano/Sram if the customer specifies that that’s what they want at the outset.
