All transactions are conducted in USD (United States Dollar).

Address Verification System (AVS)

We use the Address Verification System (AVS) to verify the identity of the person using the credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user, against the address on file at the credit card company. If they match then the order will go through. If they don't the order will be declined on your behalf by the bank.

AVS verifies the numeric portions of a card holder's billing address. For example, if your address is 101 Main Street, Highland, CA 92346, AVS will check 101 and 92346.

Sometimes, depending upon the card issuing bank, the AVS checks additional digits such as apartment numbers.

Trouble Shooting AVS Problems

We have seen a few cases where our customers receive false negatives, or partial declines for AVS mismatches from our verification system provided by Authorize.net. Here are some things you can try to fix your AVS:

If your Billing and Shipping address are the SAME:
Contact the card issuing bank and have them fix your AVS entries they have on file.
If your Billing and Shipping addresses are DIFFERENT:
Call your bank and have them add a new valid shipping address to your AVS settings.

You may also try calling us directly for a manual override and voice authorization. The AVS is still checked in this case, but we can work with you to try and isolate the problems.

Tax

All Colorado residents pay 6.7% sales tax (Colorado 2.9% + County 0.8% + City 3.0%).
