These are the most frequently asked questions about the Giustaforza torque wrench.
I recently purchased the GF Torque Wrench from you and am extremely happy with my decision. My question is whether I can also use it to loosen bolts if I turn the torque setting back down to zero. Will this affect the accuracy of the wrench or damage it?
No damage to the Giustaforza will be done by using it to loosen a screw or bolt. The Giustaforza is primarily used to tighten bolts and screws to spec. The proper procedure would be to tighten the screws with a screwdriver or Hex key until they are seated, then finish tightening with the Giustaforza torque wrench.
I forgot to set the GiustaForza back to its lowest setting before putting it away. It spent about 9 hours set at 8 Nm. Will this effect the calibration in a significantly negative manner?
The wrench and its accuracy are very sturdy. 9 hours at 8 Nm won't hurt its performance at all. (it would be different if you left it for months at 16 Nm, in that case I'd recommend a wrench check!). You can keep using it without any worry.
