CarboGrip Reviewed in Bicycling Magazine

CarboGrip

CarboGrip was Reviewed in Bicycling Magazine's January 09 issue on page 81.

They covered all the main points of CarboGrip:

Anti-seize properties

  • for easy removal of a sprayed part
  • or simply raising or lowering your seatpost is no problem

Prevent over torque

  • just spray the area that'll be clamped to create a grippy surface
  • assemble and wait at least five minutes before riding

Waterproof and prevents corrosion

A thread locker for bolts and fasteners

  • steel
  • aluminum
  • titanium

The only drawback mentioned in the review is a "mess factor," and Bicycling Magazine is also correct in mentioning that if CarboGrip is wiped off right way there is usually no residue. If for some reason you do manage to get a little wild with the CarboGrip all spray it all over the work bench, tool box, floor, and that hedge trimmer you borrowed from you neighbor, CarboMove will remove all traces of CarboGrip.

CarboMove is also used to remove CarboGrip from your bike parts so you can spray a fresh coat of CarboGrip on it before reassembly.
