Sky Mounti Inclinometer

Category: General
Posted on May 23, 2008 by Steve

The Sky Mounti Inclinometer is a nifty device that clamps to your handlebars and instantly tells you how steep the hill you are climbing really is. There always seems to be some debate over what the grade on those hills really are. With the Sky Mounti inclinometer you can get a good reading on that grade percentage of those “monster” climbs.

Inclinometer How Steep is your worst nightmare?

The Sky Mounti Inclinometer is a very simple device and easy to install. It is filled with a vicious liquid, and it will not freeze if the temperate becomes way cold. The Sky Mounti Inclinometers we carry measures grades from +27% to -15% and are offered in two sizes for your handlebars: the standard 26.0mm, and the very popular oversized 31.8mm.

One of the things you might notice is that the bubble wobbles like mad if you are coming out of the saddle and jamming those pedals, but this wobble while climbing actually has an unforeseen bonus. If you work on keeping that bubble steady, it tends to considerably smooth out your climbing technique.
