This past Labor Day weekend, just like the rest of America, I decided to see where the great Colorado highways would take me. I packed some snacks, piled in heaps of luggage, and popped off those quick release tires. I had picked up this crazy sounding item, a Chain Condom, a few days ago from work and decided to see what it was all about. This velcroed sleeve quickly and neatly covered my bike’s drivetrain and off we went. Without my bike creating extra drag atop my car, I zipped through traffic and sped through the mundane surrounds. In the back seat, the Chain Condom did its job superbly by keeping dirt and grease contained. Altogether, my three-day adventure was excellent. My only regret is that the bike was buried so deep inside my packed car I didn't get a fair chance to show off this simple, nylon invention. Thankfully, I can use this blog as an outlet to share my Chain Condom success story.
