Effetto Mariposa means Butterfly Effect in Italian. The inspiration of which comes from the scientist Edward Lorenz, who's "the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil can set off a tornado in Texas," basically means that small and un-susceptible events can cause disasters. In the modern world of cycling extra torque applied to a screw could be the flap of a butterfly's wing, and the resulting broken handlebar, the tornado.

Effetto Mariposa is the manufacturer of the awesome Giustaforza "Correct Force" torque wrench. The GiustaForza, or GF as we call it here at Cantitoe Road, makes sure your troque is a good positive flap of a butterfly's wing.

CarboGrip

CarboGrip is a special high-molecular weight silicone resin when sprayed on a component creates a strong grippy surface.
